Diweave company presented the PowerWalker VFI CRS UPS in Ukraine. It is noted that this is a battery-free version of the already well-known VFI CRM line of UPS. The novelty provides an output power factor of 0.8.
The main difference between the CRS series and the CRM is a powerful charger with a charging current of 6 A and the ability to connect high-capacity external batteries, which allows you to increase the efficiency of these devices several times. The connection voltage for VFI 1000CRS is 24 V (2x12 V), for VFI 2000CRS – 48 V (4x48 V), for VFI 3000CRS – 72 V (6x12 V).
PowerWalker recommends the use of time-proven, high-quality AGM Long Life Triathlon batteries with the VFI CRS series UPS. With proper use, these batteries will last more than 12 years.
UPS of this series support work with a generator, which, together with the possibility of connecting and quickly charging powerful batteries, makes this system a small autonomous power plant.
The PowerWalker VFI CRS has a wide input voltage range of 110-300V and a pure sine wave output signal, providing complete protection for mission-critical devices such as servers, sensitive diagnostic medical equipment, network/telephone communication systems, and industrial precision devices.
UPS of this series can be mounted in a cabinet (2U) or placed on the floor: stands are included. At the same time, the LCD display can rotate depending on the position of the UPS.
The PowerWalker VFI 1000 CRS is only 310mm deep, making it one of the most compact rack/cabinet UPSs in its class.
Main features of PowerWalker VFI CRS:
- Rack/tower design with rotating LCD display
- Hot-swappable batteries
- The large LCD display makes it easy to monitor and access the status of the UPS
- ECO mode is available
- CVCF mode is available
- Potential equalization screw
- APFC – high power PF
- Resetting the circuit breaker
- Compatibility with the generator
- EPO – emergency power off
There are three models in the line from 1000 to 3000 V/A.
