Back in 1824, Ferdinand Piatnik founded the company that still bears his name today, Wiener Spielkartenfabrik Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne and the company are successfully managed by the descendants of the founder's family.

Today, Piatnik is Austria's largest card and game publisher with subsidiaries in Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the United States.

Piatnik has been producing high-quality playing cards directly in Vienna, the capital of Austria, since 1824. Piatnik's slogan is: “People who don't play take themselves too seriously!”.

The manufacturer is constantly updating its range of cards, which includes not only classic decks for poker, bridge and other games, but also Tarot card sets and cards for solitaire.
